Dixon Public Schools honors it’s alumni with two separate Distinguished Alumni Awards – Outstanding Alumni and Young Alumni Award (nominees for the Young Alumni Award must have graduated between the years of 1989-2009).

Nominees must show significant contributions/accomplishments in any of the following areas:

The arts, science and technology, schools and community, academic enrichment, or the nominee’s field of work.

First Alumni Award Print

The Dixon Public School District will be announcing President Ronald Reagan as their first DHS Distinguished Alumni recipient in July at the 2nd Annual DHS Alumni Picnic.

The Distinguished Alumni Award is a program developed to honor DHS alumni significant contributions/accomplishments in any of the following areas: the arts, science and technology, schools and community, academic enrichment, or the nominee’s field of work. 

At the Alumni Picnic, nomination forms will be made available for one Outstanding Alumni and one Young Alumni (graduated between 2009-1989) to be awarded in 2011.
 


Dixon Public Schools, in cooperation with the community, will provide students with a comprehensive educational program that produces well-educated, self-sufficient, and involved citizens.
