The Partnership Committee funded several projects throughout the district that involved extra-curricular and co-curricular projects.

With the help of the corporate sponsorship program, several extra-curricular and co-curricular groups were able to purchase new and update items for DPS students to use in the 2009-10 school year.

Corporate sponsors donate funds to the corporate sponsorship program, which originated from the Partnership Committee, a sub-committee of the Dixon School Board. 

District wide coaches, sponsors and advisors were encouraged to fill out an application requesting funds.  The applications

were reviewed by Partnership Committee members and award winners were notified at the end of the 2008-09 school year.

Congratulations to the following award winners; The PRIDE Club, BLIND, HS Football program, HS Band program, Yearbook & Publication program, DHS podium, and the choral program.

A big thank-you goes to the 2008-09 Corporate Sponsors who are listed on the back of this newsletter.  Without their support these items would not have been able to be purchased!

The football team purchased a new sled with funds from the Partnership Grant
