The Treasurer’s Report was approved as written.

For the 2010 – 2011 school year, the elementary schools received much funding from our corporate sponsors. Washington School received $1,000 for their Dr. Seuss Night; $2,500 for the TheatreWorks play, “Fancy Nancy”; and also money for an outdoor sit-and-read area with benches. Lincoln School received $1,500 for a family outreach program and $550 to fund playground equipment, as a component of their PBIS system. Reagan received $2,000 to fund their PBIS system.

The spring fundraiser of Butter Braids netted a profit of approximately $8,500.

The cookout held at Wyanet Meats (to benefit Shining Star Children’s Advocacy Center) earned $474. The walk held to benefit this agency also went well.

PTO will have a table at fall registration, for any parents who have questions. Brenda Drezen distributed a sign-up sheet for volunteers. Please contact her if you’d be willing to volunteer your time for this.

Our Fall fundraiser was discussed. Vanessa Ankney suggests selling Folsom’s cookie dough.

2010 – 2011 officers were assigned as follows: Washington President ~ Brenda Brown; Lincoln President ~ Vanessa Ankney; Jefferson President ~ Stacie McCullough; Washington Social Chair ~ Jodi Kelly; Lincoln Social Chair ~ Amanda Thomas; Jefferson Social Chair ~ Katherine Shuey; Fundraising Chair ~ Marce Piller; Treasurer ~ Nicole Kratzner; and Secretary ~ Kim Munson.
