Meeting Minutes: Monday, October 18, 2010

7:00 p.m. ~ Washington School Library

Members in Attendance: Mr. Dave Suarez, Mr. Dan Rick, Kim Printz, Kim Bork, Karen Lonkert, Nicole Kratzner, Jennifer Johnston, Brenda Brown, Stacie McCullough, Vanessa Ankney, Kristie South, Angie Harrison, Mandy Dallas, and Kim Munson.

PBIS (Positive Behavioral Intervention System) was explained by the principals and teachers of each elementary school.  PBIS addresses the behavioral performance of students.  Benefits include catching students “in the act” of good behavior and applying the same rules across all school settings.

Picture retakes will be on Thursday, 10/28.  Parent volunteers will be contacted for each building.

Halloween parties will be on Friday, 10/29.

Spirit Wear orders are expected to be in by mid-November.

Fundraiser orders are due on Wednesday, 10/27.  Deliveries will be made to one central location on 11/18.

The teacher luncheons were well-received at each school.  However, there were not enough salads.  In the future, coordinators will explain that each salad needs to feed 10 – 12 people.

There were no teacher requests presented.

Our next meeting will be on Monday, November 15th, at 7:00 p.m., in the Washington School library.  Please join us!
