The DHS Key Club asked permission to borrow PTO’s games, for their annual Fun Fair, to be held on Friday 3/11 in the DHS cafeteria.  In the event that additional games are needed, a motion was made to spend up to $200 to purchase them.  Motion passed unanimously.

The Movie Night was well-received, with over 120 people in attendance.  The DHS Key Club was a huge help.  It was suggested that we hold additional movie nights in the future.

Our spring fundraiser will be Roma Villa Pizzas; these are the kind sold at Angelo’s in Sterling.  Sales will be from 3/30 – 4/13, with pick up on 5/5 at Jefferson School.

A motion was made to give $50 per elementary school, to be used as seen fit by office staff.  This is done as a thank-you for all they do for our organization and our children.  Motion passed by majority vote.

Mr. Thorpe requested $400 to renew an archery program for Jefferson School’s PE program.  Motion passed unanimously.

Washington School requested $990 to fund 2 presentations (1 per grade level) during their Reading Day Celebration in May.  This will fund an African dance troupe.  Motion passed unanimously.

Our next meeting will be on Monday, 3/14, at 7:00 p.m., in the Washington School library.  Please join us!
