A motion was made to spend $75 to purchase a movie license, which is required by law. Motion passed by unanimous vote. Concessions will sell for $1 each. DHS Key Club student helpers will assist in manning the concession stand.

Spirit Wear will be downsized in the future to avoid the confusion between PTO and Peggy Scudder.  There will be fewer choices to make the ordering and organizing easier.

Fundraising was a big success with PTO making over $38,000.  We sold over 2600 butter braids and over 700 pounds of coffee.

There were no complaints from the Halloween parties but several parents commented on liking the parades inside.

A movie night for all three elementary schools was discussed and agreed on to begin planning.  We will attempt to use the high school auditorium and find an age appropriate movie all age ranges will enjoy, possibly “How to Train Your Dragon”?  A committee was formed and a meeting date will be set to finalize plans.

In attendance:

Brenda Drezen, Kristie South, Mariann Biggs, Danielle Simpson, Mandy Dallas, Alice Schaffer, Diana Morley, Jeff Gould, Dan Rick, Amanda Thomas, Jennifer Johnston

Lunch Announcement Print

Parents:

It has become a concern that we have so many students charging lunches in our cafeteria. We currently serve students even if they owe money for lunches.

We have told students they will be unable to charge more than 2 lunches, but we have continued to feed them. Unfortunately, we are not able to keep doing this.

As of Monday, November 8th no students will be allowed to charge more than 2 lunches.

Please send your student with money to pay for their lunch.
