Thought for the Day: Opportunity knocks once, but temptation leans on the doorbell.

1. Anyone interested in joining the Peer Jury Program should see Officer LaMendola in the guidance office to pick up an application.

2. Turn in a t-shirt design for the Leo Club and win $25! Give your design to Karen Sanders or Alicia Brown. Entries are due by September 28th.

3. Hey Seniors – It’s that time of year – time for school spirit and senior t-shirts! If you have a design you would like to share, turn it in to the office or one of the senior class officers. The deadline is September 20th.

4. LONDON FOR SPRING BREAK: Mr.Padilla is chaperoning a trip to London this spring break. If you are interested in traveling to London this April, see Mr. Padilla in Room 405 for information. Cost of the trip is $2,024. There will be an informational meeting announced later this week. Students interested need to be signed up by September 30.

5. The golf team hosted Rock Island Alleman in a dual at the Timber Creek Golf Course. The varsity shot a 186 to Alleman’s 166. Dan Pultorak was low for Dixon with a 42. This puts the varsity’s record at 6 & 2 for the season.The varsity travels to Aldeen Golf Course in Rockford on Saturday to play in the E-Rab Invitational.

There will be a meeting for girls participating in track and field today immediately following the pep assembly in the gym.
