Thought for the Day: Act as if it were impossible to fail.

1. Anyone interested in joining the Peer Jury Program should see Officer LaMendola in the guidance office to pick up an application.

2. Turn in a t-shirt design for the Leo Club and win $25! Give your design to Karen Sanders or Alicia Brown. Entries are due by September 28th.

3. Hey Seniors – It’s that time of year – time for school spirit and senior t-shirts! If you have a design you would like to share, turn it in to the office or one of the senior class officers. The deadline is September 20th.

4. There are two jobs posted in the Guidance Office. Check the jobs board in the G.O. for information.

5. The golf team traveled to Rockford Saturday, to compete in the East Rockford Invitational at Aldeen Golf Course. The varsity shot a 357 total, placing 4th in the Division I - 9 team event. Austin Dillon led the way for the Dukes with an 81.The golf team is in action on Thursday, when they travel to Emerald Hills Golf Course to play in a triangular with Sterling and Geneseo.

6. There are boys’ basketball open gyms this week. Check the calendars posted around the school, or ask Coach Mead for one.
