1. Anyone interested in joining the Peer Jury Program should see Officer LaMendola in the guidance office to pick up an application.

2. There are two jobs posted in the Guidance Office. Check the jobs board in the G.O. for information.

3. There will be a girl’s track meeting with pizza on Monday, September 19th at 6:15 p.m. in the cafeteria to go over upcoming events.

4. Students must have their ID cards to use the computers in the Library.

5. Students – You must have your ID on you to get into the games. Even if you do not have a paid activity card, you will save a $1 when you show your ID.

6. All Students – Officer LaMendola and the Dixon Police Department want to remind you to use the crosswalks during lunch and before and after school. They will be issuing tickets to students who do not cross in the marked areas.

7. The golf team played in a triangular with Sterling and Geneseo, at Emerald Hills Golf Course. The varsity shot a team total of 181, but Sterling shot a 154 and Geneseo a 179.This puts the varsity’s record at 6 & 4, and 1 & 1 in the conference. The Dukes are in action on Saturday, at the Oregon Invitational, at Sunset Ridge.

8. The Homecoming Dance will be October 8th. Tickets are $10 and will be on sale starting next Wednesday in the cafeteria. There are no ticket sales the week of Homecoming. Under no circumstances will there be any tickets sold at the door. Repeat, no tickets sold at the door! If you have an out of school or out of town guest, you must get a Dance Guest Pass. You can pick the guest pass up when you buy your ticket or you can find it online at the school’s website. It must be turned into the office the Monday of Homecoming week. If it isn’t handed in, the guest will not be allowed to go. The dance is from 8:00 until 11:00 with the doors opening at 7:30. All students and guests must have id’s. All students and guests must be to the dance by 9:00 or they will not be allowed in. Once you leave, you will not be allowed back into the dance. The announcement of the Homecoming court will be approximately 9:15.

9. Senior T-shirt design ideas are due Tuesday.

Eligibility will be run today for Homecoming. If you are passing 5 classes you will be able to attend the dance.
