Homecoming Week

Decades Day!

MENU
Soup w/ Stadium Hot Dog
Green Beans
Mandarin Oranges

Thought for the Day: When you make your mark in the world, watch out for the guys with erasers.

1. Attention all Dodgeball teams! There is an informational meeting that at least one person must attend on Monday after school. It will only last about 5 minutes, but a team representative must be there. There are no other meetings before Monday's tournament.

2. Any student who owes for more than 2 lunches in the cafeteria will not be allowed to charge a lunch until the balance has been paid.

3. There will be a meeting for all boys interested in playing baseball next spring, on Thursday, October 6 at 11:15 in the cafeteria.

4. The football team would like to acknowledge the following staff members for their support and dedication towards the football team: Mr. Tennyson, Mr. Mead, Mr. Clark. The following are being recognized this week: Mr. Agrimonti, Mr. Padilla and Mr. Seibel. Thank you for everything you have done to make our experience here at DHS an enjoyable and successful one.

5. You may never think of yourself as the answer to someone’s prayer, but every time you donate blood, you are! Every time you donate, you help save a person’s life – a mother, a child, a brother. There is no bigger difference you can make in a person’s life than giving them life itself. The hour it takes you to give blood could even save up to three lives. The fall blood drive is Friday, October 14th.

6. National Honor Society will meet Monday, October 3rd at 7:15 a.m. in room 128.

TODAY (9/30)

Hey! It’s almost Homecoming Week! The DHS Class Officers will be providing window paint today from 2:30-3:30 in the cafeteria. For only $2 you can paint your windows. See you there and GO DUKES!

Today is the last day to turn in Dodgeball teams in to Mr. Eddy.

Today is the last day to turn in Peer Jury applications.

The Senior Servant auction will be today right after school in the cafeteria.

Dixon Public Schools, in cooperation with the community, will provide students with a comprehensive educational program that produces well-educated, self-sufficient, and involved citizens.
