Congratulations Ellie Drezen. October Student of the Month!

1. There is a 3 on 3 basketball tournament on Friday, October 28. Prizes will be awarded to winners. It will be a fun night. See Mr. Mead in room 203 to sign up or if you have any questions.

2. Attention Tennis Girls – Equipment (warm-ups), saver cards and money MUST be turned in asap to Mrs. Bailey in the Athletic office. If you ordered a sweatshirt, stop by the office after school to pick it up.

3. BLIND is sponsoring a shoe drive through Friday to provide shoes for African nations. Bring new or used pairs of shoes to your 6th hour class. The class that collects the most pairs will win a pizza party. 2nd place will receive cookies. BLIND leaders will be around sixth hour to tally and collect shoes brought in. Contact Mr. Padilla for details.

4. The winter sports meeting will be Wednesday, October 26th at 5:30 p.m. in the gym. Athletes and parents who have not attended a sports meeting this year should plan to attend.

5. A representative of Western Illinois University will be in the Guidance Office on Thursday at 8:00 a.m. Interested seniors should see Mrs. Bellows.

6. Good Luck to Mandy Kent and Kayla Wilson who will represent DHS in the State Tennis Meet!

The Choir Department will present its Fall Concert tonight at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium..

All Bowlers - There will be an informational/sign-up meeting at 2:15 pm. today in the cafeteria.
