Thought for the Day: Some people change their ways when they see the light, others when they feel the heat.

1. Hey DHS musically inclined students – The class officers are hosting a Battle of the Bands! Sign up and money are due by November 11th.

2. Attention Boy’s Basketball - If you missed Sunday’s meeting, please sign up for boy’s basketball in Coach Mead’s room (203). All boy’s basketball players must get a picture taken in room 203 in a shirt and tie this week.

3. Hey Seniors – Order your senior t-shirts today! Order forms are in the main office. Order forms and money are due to your class officers by Friday, Nov.11th.

4. Plan to attend the DHS Fall Play, Check Please, on November 4 & 5 at 7:00 p.m. and November 6th at 2:00 p.m.

5. Congratulations to the winners of the first annual Zombie drawing competition. Trent Brinkmeier received the most votes for his pen and ink rendering of a living dead abomination and Ashley Richards came in second for her whimsical pencil drawing of a zombie gone wrong. Thanks to everyone who participated in the competition by submitting entries or voting for your favorite zombie. Look for additional drawing competitions throughout the year.
