Thought for the Day: Opportunity dances with those who are ready on the dance floor.

1. Hey DHS musically inclined students – The class officers are hosting a Battle of the Bands! Sign up and money are due by November 10th.

2. Hey Seniors – Order your senior t-shirts today! Order forms are in the main office. Order forms and money are due to your class officers by Thursday, Nov.10th.

3. Plan to attend the DHS Fall Play, Check Please, on November 4 & 5 at 7:00 p.m. and November 6th at 2:00 p.m.

4. Attention Seniors – Please bring your order form and deposit for your graduation announcements and cap & gown to school on Wednesday, November 9th from 7:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the cafeteria. This is the ONLY day orders can be turned in at the school.

5. Attention Baseball Players – There will be a mandatory meeting for all levels on Thursday, November 10th at 3:00 p.m. in the cafeteria.

6. Any student interested in participating in a 5 session Test Taking and Study Strategies Group should sign up in the Guidance Office. The group will meet on Wednesday’s from 2:20 pm to 2:50 pm. Sign up by Thursday, November 10th. The first session will be Wednesday, November 16th.

7. Whiteside Area Career Center will hold an Open House Thursday, November 10 from 6:30-8:00 in Sterling. Freshmen, sophomores and their parents are invited to tour the facility and learn about program opportunities for next year.

8. Good Luck to Simon Thorpe and the DHS Girls Cross Country Team as they participate in the State Meet this weekend!

9. National Honor Society will meet Monday at 7:15 a.m.in room 128.

10.Monday night the DHS Scholastic bowl team is hosting a NIB12 Quad meet at 4:30 PM. As this is the team's only home meet, that means it is SENIOR NIGHT!!!  Please come to the meet this Monday and support your DHS scho-bowl seniors who have dedicated four years to the program!
