1. Hey DHS musically inclined students – The class officers are hosting a Battle of the Bands! Sign up and money are due by November 10th.

2. Hey Seniors – Order your senior t-shirts today! Order forms are in the main office. Order forms and money are due to your class officers by Thursday, Nov.10th.

3. Attention Seniors – Please bring your order form and deposit for your graduation announcements and cap & gown to school on Wednesday, November 9th from 7:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the cafeteria. This is the ONLY day orders can be turned in at the school.

4. Attention Baseball Players – There will be a mandatory meeting for all levels on Thursday, November 10th at 3:00 p.m. in the cafeteria.

5. Any student interested in participating in a 5 session Test Taking and Study Strategies Group should sign up in the Guidance Office. The group will meet on Wednesday’s from 2:20 pm to 2:50 pm. Sign up by Thursday, November 10th. The first session will be Wednesday, November 16th.

6. Whiteside Area Career Center will hold an Open House Thursday, November 10 from 6:30-8:00 in Sterling. Freshmen, sophomores and their parents are invited to tour the facility and learn about program opportunities for next year.

7. The Dixon Dukes basketball program would like to congratulate Austin Thomas for passing the Green Light Test. Go Dukes!

8. Any boys interested in swimming, please stop in the athletic office for information. 

9. We will be on an adjusted schedule on Thursday for the Winter Sports Assembly in Lancaster Gym.

10.The Dixon High School Math Team will have its first practice on Wednesday, November 9th at 3:00 p.m. in Room 303. It is not too late to join! Please speak with Mrs. Anderson if you are interested in participating.

11.Ashford University will have a representative in the G.O. Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Interested seniors should sign up with Mrs. Bellows.
