Thought for the Day: Be open & accessible – the next person you meet could become your best friend.

1. Hey DHS musically inclined students – The class officers are hosting a Battle of the Bands! Sign up and money are due by November 10th.

2. Hey Seniors – Order your senior t-shirts today! Order forms are in the main office. Order forms and money are due to your class officers by Thursday, Nov.10th.

3. Attention Baseball Players – There will be a mandatory meeting for all levels on Thursday, November 10th at 3:00 p.m. in the cafeteria.

4. Any student interested in participating in a 5 session Test Taking and Study Strategies Group should sign up in the Guidance Office. The group will meet on Wednesday’s from 2:20 pm to 2:50 pm. Sign up by Thursday, November 10th. The first session will be Wednesday, November 16th.

5. Whiteside Area Career Center will hold an Open House Thursday, November 10 from 6:30-8:00 in Sterling. Freshmen, sophomores and their parents are invited to tour the facility and learn about program opportunities for next year.

6. Any boys interested in swimming, please stop in the athletic office for information. 

7. We will be on an adjusted schedule on Thursday for the Winter Sports Assembly in Lancaster Gym.

9. Seniors – If you are interested in Ashford University and have a 3.5 or higher gpa, see your counselor about a scholarship.
