1. The Leo Club has a used eyeglasses, hearing aids and keys recycling box in the office. Please bring your recyclable items in.

2. Juniors who took the PSAT can pick up their test results in the Guidance Office.

3. Hey DHS - It's here now! And in time for Christmas! The Grand Opening for the Dixon High School Store is TODAY from 7:15 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. in the school cafeteria. The store will remain open on Tuesday and Thursday during those hours for the school year. There will be short and long- sleeved T-shirts, sweatpants, hoodies and more. We even have Nike Brand Dri-fit items, too. So spread the spirit and pride by buying purple and white for your friends, family and yourself! Christmas is just around the corner!

4. Ticket sales for the Winter Semi-Formal will be before and after school and during lunch.  Tickets are $5 each, or $8 for a couple.  No out of town guests will be allowed to attend this dance. Any questions, see an administrator.

5. There is a scholarship for a senior who will be continuing their education in engineering. Forms are in the G.O.

6. The Jerry Mitchell General Assembly Scholarship is now available. Seniors who will be attending a state university in Illinois may apply. Applications are in the G.O.

7. The DHS Pride Team is proud to promote the DHS Christmas Concert on Sunday, December 13th. The Band will perform at 2:00 p.m. and the Choir at 4:00 p.m. Come on out and enjoy some festive music. There will be a bake sale before and during the concert to support the Fine Arts Department and Class Officers. The Dixon Pride Team will also have their store open to help spread spirit and pride.

8. The National Honor Society will sponsoring a Winter Coat Drive Dec. 9-16. Donate new or used coats to those in need. There will be a box in the cafeteria.

9. The Twin Cities Educational Scholarship is now available for Latino students.There is one for Sauk Valley College and one for any other school. Winners' parents must be willing to assist with fundraisers for T.C.E.S. during the year.
