Thought for the Day: A person’s true character is revealed by what he does when no one is watching.

1. The library will be hosting an Origami Workshop on February 16th during lunchtimes. Please stop by and sign-up.

2. Student Council is sponsoring a Sadie Hawkins Dance on Friday, February 17th after the boy’s home basketball game. Tickets are sold at the door for $2 to DHS students only, sorry no out of town or out of school guests! You must have a student id to get in.

3. Sophomores can sign up for the Whiteside tour in the Guidance Office. The tour will be Friday, February 24th from 8-9:30.

4. Hey DHS – Do you have talent? Then come and participate in the annual DHS Variety Show! Sign-ups are outside Mr. Boll’s room. The Variety Show will be March 16th.

5. Boy's interested in going out for Tennis this Spring should sign up in the Athletic Office. Questions? See Coach Boll in room 134 before or after school.

6. The Police Explorers will meet Monday at 6:00 p.m. at the Police Department.

7. Sauk Valley College will have a representative in the Guidance Office at 8:00 on Tuesday. Interested seniors should sign up in the G.O.

8. Congratulations to MOLLY FANE who was named to the NIB 12 Fresh/Soph All-Conference Team at Saturday's meet at LaSalle Peru.
