½ Day Teacher Inservice

MENU
No Lunches Served

Thought for the Day: Failure in people is caused more by lack of determination than lack in talent.

1. Student Council is sponsoring a Sadie Hawkins Dance on Friday, February 17th after the boy’s home basketball game. Tickets are sold at the door for $2 to DHS students only, sorry no out of town or out of school guests! You must have a student id to get in.

2 Sophomores can sign up for the Whiteside tour in the Guidance Office. The tour will be Friday, February 24th from 8-9:30.

3. Hey DHS – Do you have talent? Then come and participate in the annual DHS Variety Show! Sign-ups are outside Mr. Boll’s room. The Variety Show will be March 16th.

4. CONGRATULATIONS to the Dixon Scholastic Bowl team for the FIRST PLACE FINISH at the Sterling Public Library 921 Tournament last night. The DHS team of Kevin Heath, Nate X Davis, Kurt Gale and Joey Hammitt defeated Rock Falls, Newman AND STERLING to take first place for the SECOND YEAR IN A ROW! WAY TO GO, TEAM.

5. Any girls interested in playing softball this spring should sign up in the A.D.’s office.

6. Don't forget, student council members are setting up for the dance at 1:00 Friday in the cafeteria. The more help there is, the less time it will take!
