1. Crimestoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to the arrest of the individuals who broke into the weight room over this past weekend. If you have any information, contact Officer LaMendola. Your identity will remain confidential.

2. The Second Look Prom & Homecoming Dress sale will be Saturday, February 25th from 9-3 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church basement. All dresses will be $30 or less. All proceeds go to your school’s activity department. Please bring your school id.

3. Freshmen – Please go to the office to sign up if you want a class T-shirt.

4. If you are a high school junior who has a strong academic record and an annual household income of less that $60,000, we encourage you to apply to the QuestBridge scholarship program. This program awards full scholarships to college summer programs at Brandeis, Emory, Harvard, Stanford, Notre Dame, Penn and Yale. Apply online at  www.questbridge.org .

5. The Association of Illinois Township Committee’s on Youth (AITCOY) is again offering a five hundred dollar scholarship – applications are due by April 5, 2012 . For more information and application, go to   www.aitcoy.org

6. Softball open gym will be from 2 to 4:30 this Sunday.

7. Students who wish to play Chess, may do so in the library, before or after school or during lunch periods.

8. Boys Baseball practices begin Monday February 27th at 3pm. All baseball players will meet upstairs in the batting cage area at 3pm.

9. Students are reminded not to put latex balloons on their lockers or to bring them into the school. We have some students who are very allergic to them.

10.Hey Key Clubbers – T-shirts are going to be $14 and money is due to Michelle asap. Checks can be made out to DHS Key Club. Thanks!

11.Attention Juniors & Seniors – Final eligibility for Prom will be run March 23rd. You must be passing 5 classes to attend Prom.

12.Sophomores who are going on the WACC tour Friday morning should meet in the new gym lobby at the beginning of 1st period.
