Thought for the Day: The secret to success is to start from scratch and keep on scratch.

1. Crimestoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to the arrest of the individuals who broke into the weight room over this past weekend. If you have any information, contact Officer LaMendola. Your identity will remain confidential.

2. The Second Look Prom & Homecoming Dress sale will be Saturday, February 25th from 9-3 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church basement. All dresses will be $30 or less. All proceeds go to your school’s activity department. Please bring your school id.

3. Freshmen – Please go to the office to sign up if you want a class T-shirt.

4. Softball open gym will be from 2 to 4:30 this Sunday.

5. Students who wish to play Chess, may do so in the library, before or after school or during lunch periods.

6. Boys Baseball practices begin Monday February 27th at 3pm. All baseball players will meet upstairs in the batting cage area at 3pm.

7. Students are reminded not to put latex balloons on their lockers or to bring them into the school. We have some students who are very allergic to them.

8. Hey Key Clubbers – T-shirts are going to be $14 and money is due to Michelle asap. Checks can be made out to DHS Key Club. Thanks!

9. Attention Juniors & Seniors – Final eligibility for Prom will be run March 23rd. You must be passing 5 classes to attend Prom.

10.Any junior or senior girl interested in attending a workshop at Sauk Valley College on women in criminal justice should contact their counselor. The workshop  will be March 16th.

11.The WACC tour has been rescheduled to Wednesday, February 29th. Only those students already on the list may attend. Meet in the new gym lobby at the beginning of 1st period.

12.Come show your shamrock spirit in the library. Come in and fill out a shamrock to let us know what you would do if you were a leprechaun at DHS for a day.
