Thought for the Day: Learn from other’s mistakes rather than making them all yourself.

1. Any junior or senior girl interested in attending a workshop at Sauk Valley College on women in criminal justice should contact Ms. Durband. The workshop will be March 16th.

2. Come show your shamrock spirit in the library. Come in and fill out a shamrock to let us know what you would do if you were a leprechaun at DHS for a day.

3. Students wanting to sign up for summer’s Driver’s Ed may do so in the Guidance Office. Sessions are Monday through Friday, 2:30 – 4:30 and 4:30 – 6:30 starting March 12th. You must turn 15 before July 31. Questions, see Mr. Fiorini.

4. Students who are planning to apply to WACC for next year must have their applications turned in to Mr. Hodson by the end of the week.

5. The DHS Jazz Choir and Jazz Band will perform "An Evening of Jazz" Saturday, March 3 in our cafeteria at 7:00 p.m. Dessert and drink will be provided. Tickets are $5 and can be obtained from any ensemble member, Mr. Boll or Mrs. Ewers.

6. Attention Key Clubbers – Officer elections for the 2012-13 Key Club year will be held at this Friday’s meeting in the auditorium. You must be present to vote.

Dixon Public Schools, in cooperation with the community, will provide students with a comprehensive educational program that produces well-educated, self-sufficient, and involved citizens.
