Thought for the Day: Plan your work, then work your plan.

1. Flowers for a Friend – The DHS Class Officers are currently selling flowers during lunch and after school until Thursday. You can buy one for $1 or six for $5.

2. Al Morrison Baseball sign-up is Saturday, February 13th from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Loveland Community Building. Registration forms are available at sign-ups or www.almorrisonbaseball.org.

3. There’s still time to enter the Black History Month Contest. Stop by the library and pick up an informational packet and turn your entry in by Wednesday, February 17th.

4. Hey Sophomores – Get your Class of 2012 t-shirt today! See Sierra Wiseman or Josie Willett for an order form. All orders are due Friday.

5. The Tri-County Opportunities Council is offering scholarships to low-income families. Guidelines are available in the Guidance Office.

6. Juniors interested in being part of the Petunia Court can pick up applications in the main office. You must submit 2 letters of recommendation, not just phone numbers. If applications are not complete, they will not be considered. Completed applications are due February 19th.

7. Juniors are to meet in the auditorium at 7:45 a.m. on Friday to receive information about registration for next year.

8. Students who purchase a hot lunch or any food/drink item on Thursday or Friday will have a chance to win a Valentine Basket. Names will be entered into a drawing on Friday for one basket each lunch period.

9. Attention NEXT year’s Juniors and Seniors – DHS will be offering a Building Trades class next school year. Come see what a residential construction job is all about. See Mr. Zimmerman in room in room 114.

Varsity Boy’s Basketball practice will be at 3:00 and Fresh/Soph will be at 3:30 in the old gym.

Attention Math Team: Practice will be Thursday at 2:30.
