Thought for the Day: Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day that says try again tomorrow.

1. Al Morrison Baseball sign-up is Saturday, February 13th from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Loveland Community Building. Registration forms are available at sign-ups or www.almorrisonbaseball.org.

2. Attention Peer Jurors – The next hearing is scheduled for Sunday, February 28th. Please sign up in the Guidance Office. You should plan to be at the Police Dept. by 5:00 p.m.

3. Attention NEXT year’s Juniors and Seniors – DHS will be offering a Building Trades class next school year. Come see what a residential construction job is all about. See Mr. Zimmerman in room in room 114.

4. Attention all boys going out for baseball – The 1st day of practice will be Monday, March 1. You will need to have a parent consent form, physical and fees turned into the A.D.’s office before then. Also, there is a mandatory Spring Sports meeting on Wednesday, February 24. If you have already participated in a sport at DHS this year, you need not attend. Any questions, see Coach Crawford or Coach Burgess.

5. Anyone interested in being a manager for boys track, see Coach Luther.

6. Seniors see Nick, Holly or Wes about senior T-shirts. Sophomores see Sierra Wiseman or Josie Willett for your t-shirt order forms.

7. No school on Monday for President’s Day. There is no Saturday School this week.

8. The DHS Concert Band will present their Winter Concert on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in the auditorium. Come and hear some great music.

9. Attention Girls and Boys Soccer – Please turn in fundraiser money by Feb. 16th to Mrs. Bailey or at open gym at RMS. Thanks

10.February Scholastic Book Orders are available until February 26th. Forms can be picked up in the library. Orders are now able to be placed online. Many new and popular books are being offered.

11.Students will only be allowed to charge 3 lunches in the cafeteria from now on. You cannot charge any items in the snack bar, fries, or water. If you have an outstanding balance please pay either Mrs. Loescher or when you go through the lunch lines.Remember if you owe more than $5.25 you will not be allowed to eat in the cafeteria. You will have to bring lunch from home.
