Thought for the Day: Think twice before you speak, especially if you intend to say what you think.

1. Attention Peer Jurors – The next hearing is scheduled for Sunday, February 28th. Please sign up in the Guidance Office. You should plan to be at the Police Dept. by 5:00 p.m.

2. Attention all boys going out for baseball – The 1st day of practice will be Monday, March 1. You will need to have a parent consent form, physical and fees turned into the A.D.’s office before then. Also, there is a mandatory Spring Sports meeting on Wednesday, February 24. If you have already participated in a sport at DHS this year, you need not attend. Any questions, see Coach Crawford or Coach Burgess.

3. Anyone interested in being a manager for boys track, see Coach Luther.

4. Anyone interested in participating in the Variety Show can pick up a form in the main office. All forms are due March 5th in the office or to a class officer.

5. Seniors – T-shirt order forms & money are due Wednesday, February 24th.

6. February Scholastic Book Orders are available until February 26th. Forms can be picked up in the library. Orders are now able to be placed online. Many new and popular books are being offered.

7. Sophomores are to meet in the cafeteria on Friday at 7:45 a.m. You will receive information on registering for classes next year.

8. Petunia Festival Royalty applications are due Friday.

9. The Phidian Art Club is offering a scholarship for a senior who shows excellence in the arts (music, literature, arts) and will be continuing their education in an art field. Applications are in the Guidance Office and the deadline is April 1, 2010.

10.The library is closed 3rd and 7th hours on Friday.

11. Sophomores – Money for 2012 t-shirts is due to Josie or Sierra by next Friday.
