1. Seniors – Local scholarships are available on the Dixon Public School’s website. All applications are due April 30, 2010, no exceptions.

2. April Scholastic book orders are available until April 23. Forms can be picked up in the library or check online. Mockingjay, the third book in the Hunger Games series, can be pre-ordered.

3. Prom tickets are on sale now during A & B lunch until April 23rd for $40 each.

4. DHS will offer Summer School to those students who need to make up lost credits. The cost of the classes is $110.00 per class. There will be no waivers for tuition. You must pay for the class when you sign up to reserve your spot. Applications are in the Guidance Office.

5. Freshman ring orders will be taken Tuesday, April 20th from 1:00-6:00 in the cafeteria.

6. Attention Golfers – Anyone interested in going out for golf this fall should plan to attend an organizational meeting on Wednesday, April 21 in room 124 right after school.

7. Applications for detasseling for Mr. Ricks and Mr. Randick are in the Guidance Office.

8. The Dixon Pride Team is promoting Girl’s and Boy’s Track this week. We are asking everyone to attend the Dixon Invite for the girl’s on Friday at 4:30 p.m. and Boy’s Dixon Invite on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Come out to the track and support your Dukes and Duchesses.

9. We hope you did not miss that great musical! Our fellow students did an outstanding job with The Wizard of Oz. If you went to the musical, please turn in your ticket stub or program with your name on it to the main office today or tomorrow for a chance for Dixon Pride items. Let the cast and crew know what a great job they did!

10 Detasseling forms for Mr.Johnson and Mr.Bach are available in the Guidance Office.
