Thought for the Day: The dictionary is the only place where success comes before work.

1. Applications for summer school are in the Guidance Office. The cost is $110.00 per class. There will be no waivers for tuition. You must pay for the class when you sign up to reserve your spot.

2. Applications for detasseling are in the Guidance Office.

3. Students will no longer be allowed to charge lunches in the cafeteria.

4. Senior Leadership Award forms are available in the Guidance Office. This scholarship is open to all seniors and is due to Mr. Boll or Mr. Eddy by May 14th.

5. Attention DHS – Support the Shining Star Children’s Center this Friday by purchasing a $1 token for “Caps 4 Kids” in front of the office on Thursday and Friday mornings. Wear some type headgear to support a great cause and to show school spirit to support our Boy’s Track team in their bid for an NCIC crown at Sterling this Friday.

6. Attention Student Council members –Officer elections will be held the 19th. It is important to attend the last three meetings.

7. Petitions for class officers are now available in the main office and must be turned in to the main office or Mr. Boll by the end of the day Thursday. No Exceptions! There will be a mandatory meeting for all candidates Friday at 7:30 a.m. in the band room. Any questions, see Nick Davis.

8. Any Junior or Senior who went to Prom and did not receive a glass, is welcome to pick one up in the band room.

9. Students must park in marked parking spaces in the cafeteria lot. Violators are subject to detentions, ticketing or towing.

10.Congratulations to the DHS Fresh/Soph Girls Track Team for winning Conference last night in Princeton. Way to go girls!

11.Attention Football Players – There will be a brief meeting on Wednesday, May 19th at 2:25 in the gym to get information about the summer schedule and next season. This meeting is mandatory. See Coach Agrimonti before the meeting if this is a problem.

The bus for the Fresh/Soph make-up game in Sterling will leave at 3:00 today.
