½ Day Schedule

Thought for the Day: Silence is also a form of speech.

1. Applications for summer school are in the Guidance Office. The cost is $110.00 per class. There will be no waivers for tuition. You must pay for the class when you sign up to reserve your spot.

2. Applications for detasseling are in the Guidance Office.

3. Students will no longer be allowed to charge lunches in the cafeteria.

4. Attention Student Council members –Officer elections will be held the 19th. It is important to attend the last three meetings.

5. Any Junior or Senior who went to Prom and did not receive a glass, is welcome to pick one up in the band room.

6. Students must park in marked parking spaces in the cafeteria lot. Violators are subject to detentions, ticketing or towing.

7. Attention Football Players – There will be a brief meeting on Wednesday, May 19th at 2:25 in the gym to get information about the summer schedule and next season. This meeting is mandatory. See Coach Agrimonti before the meeting if this is a problem.

8. Prairie State exemption forms have been delivered to all seniors who earned them. This is the only form you will receive. Forms are due back in the Guidance Office no later than 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 19th.

9. Senior Leadership Scholarship forms are due Friday to Mr. Boll or Mr. Eddy.

10.Support the Shining Star Children’s Center by purchasing a $! token to wear a hat or any type of headgear on Friday. Show your support for the DHS Track Team in their bid for the NCIC crown at Sterling on Friday night.

11.The Girl’s Sectional Track meet has been re-scheduled to Saturday at noon.


TODAY:

Girl’s Track will practice right after school

Varsity softball will be in the cages today at 3:00.

Fresh/Soph Baseball game tonight has been cancelled. No practice tonight. Practice tomorrow will be at the field at 4:30 p.m.

Class officer petitions are due today. There will be a mandatory meeting for all candidates at 7:30 a.m. Friday in the Band Room.

Please set your recycling out at this time.
