Thought for the Day: Responsibility is the response to your ability.

1. Attention Student Council members –Officer elections will be held the 19th. It is important to attend the meetings.

2. Students must park in marked parking spaces in the cafeteria lot. Violators are subject to detentions, ticketing or towing.

3. Attention Football Players – There will be a brief meeting on Wednesday, May 19th at 2:25 in the gym to get information about the summer schedule and next season. This meeting is mandatory. See Coach Agrimonti before the meeting if this is a problem.

4. Sports physicals for the 2010-2011 school year will be given June 2nd at 3:00 p.m. at the Town Square Center. Physicals will be $30.

5. Congratulations to Michael Rick and Adam Thrasher, winners of the Dixon Pride Spirit Award last week. Remember to nominate student and staff you see going above and beyond for DHS.

6. The DHS Awards Assembly will be held Thursday, May 20th at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium. Students who will be receiving awards have been notified and a list has been posted outside the Guidance Office.

7. Attention tennis players – If you have not received information about uniform turn-in and the banquet, see Coach Boll before or after school today.

8. Attention Girls Track – Uniforms need to be turned in after school today or tomorrow in the small gym. The banquet is Wednesday at 6:30.

9. Congratulations to DHS Girls Track athletes Chelsea Sondgeroth, Tiara Sondgeroth, Liz Greenwalt, Brittany Schwarz and Haley Thorpe for qualifying for State this past weekend. Good luck to them as they compete at the State level this week.

10.The Reader’s Party is Wednesday after school in the library.

Prairie State exemptions are due Wednesday at 11:00 a.m.

Forms for the track banquet are due in the A.D.’s office today.
