Thought for the Day:  The one thing worse than quitter, is the person who is afraid to begin.

1. ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS WHO DRIVE TO SCHOOL – ALL CARS MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE MAIN OFFICE - $5 per vehicle!

2. Picture re-takes for students and staff who haven’t had their picture taken yet, will be Thursday, September 16th, in the library.

3. Attention Freshmen – If you are interested in becoming a class officer, sign up in the main office! Election information will be out very soon.

4. The 2010 yearbooks will be distributed in the cafeteria on Monday immediately after school.

5. The Dixon Girls Tennis Team lost to Auburn 0-7 and won against Freeport 4-3 and Rochelle 5-2 this past weekend. Congratulations Girls!

6. Student Council has their first meeting on Wednesday at 7:15 a.m. in room 117(by the cafeteria). Breakfast will be provided. Hope to see you there!

7. The Varsity Golf Team placed 3rd  of 21 teams at the Geneseo Invitational this past weekend. Mitch Homb shot a 3 under par and was winner of the tournament. The golf team will host LaSalle-Peru on Thursday.
