Thought for the Day:  If you scatter thorns, don’t go barefoot.

1. Picture re-takes for students and staff who haven’t had their picture taken yet, will be Thursday, September 16th, in the library.

2. Attention Freshmen – If you are interested in becoming a class officer, sign up in the main office! Election information will be out very soon.

3. The Dixon Girls Tennis Team defeated Princeton by an 8-1 score.Congratulations girls!

4. Student Council has their first meeting on Wednesday at 7:15 a.m. in room 117(by the cafeteria). Breakfast will be provided. Hope to see you there!

5. Anyone interested in joining Peer Jury should see Officer LaMendola in the Guidance Office.

6. Yearbooks will NOT be distributed after school today. They will be distributed in front of the main office after school on Wednesday. If you did not purchase a yearbook, you still can. See Mrs. Loescher

7. Students interested in auditioning for this year’s Jazz Choir need to stop by the choir room to get the information and sign up for a time. All DHS students are eligible to audition. Jazz Choir meets Mondays and Thursdays after school. Auditions are September 7 and 8. See Mrs. Ewers if you have any questions.

8. Friday we will be on a different schedule for a pep assembly following 7th period.
