1. Attention Freshmen – Sauk Valley Community College is hosting the ”Work in the Real World Career Conference”. This is an all day conference with lunch provided on November 9th. Space is limited and you must pick up a registration form and permission slip by October 10th and return it by Wednesday, October 13th. You must be passing 5 classes when you turn in your form. See Mr. Hodson for more information. 

2. Applications are now being taken for students interested in participating in the SWAP program for winter and spring sports. Applications are available in the Activities Office or online at the District website: www.dixonschools.org and are due back to the Activities Office no later than Tuesday, October 12, 2010. Due to changes made in the application, returning students are also expected to complete a new application and return by October 12th.

3. Juniors taking the PSAT/NMSQT must be at the Loveland Community Building by 7:45 a.m. on Wednesday, October 13th. The address is: 513 West Second Street- one block west of the Post Office. We will meet in the dining room located downstairs in the basement area. We will dismiss in time for students to return to 5th hour classes. Please be prepared… bring pencils, calculators and a clear thinking mind!
