Thought for the Day: Don’t talk about yourself – other people do a much better job of it.

Congratulations to Mabel Seto and Molly Love, September and October Students of the Month! Great job girls!

1. You may not think of yourself as the answer to someone’s prayer, but every time you donate blood, you are. Every time you donate blood, you help save a person’s life – a mother, a child, a brother. There is no bigger difference you can make in a person’s life than giving them life itself. The hour it takes you to give blood could even save up to three lives. The DHS blood drive is Thursday, October 21st. Please sign up in the nurse’s office. You will NOT be able to sign up to donate the day of the blood drive. Today (10/19) is the last day to sign up!

2. There will be a mandatory Boys’ Basketball sign up meeting on Friday, October 22nd at 2:25 in Mr. Porter’s room 128. Any boy grade 9-12 who is interested in playing basketball this year should plan to attend.

3. Anyone interested in wrestling should stop by the athletic director's office to sign up and get the information handed out at the meeting.
