Thought for the Day: You are not a loser until you quit trying.

1. All Crew Members – There is a sign- up sheet by the auditorium. Please sign up if you’re available to help.

2. Boys’ bowling begins official practice on Monday, October 25th at 4:30 at Plum Hollow.

3. The Winter Sport Meeting for athletes in basketball, wrestling and bowling is Monday, October 25th at 6:30 p.m. in the gym.

4. Madrigal auditions will take place on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday next week. Madrigals are open to all DHS students and they meet Mondays and Thursday after school for 2nd and 3rd quarters. If you are interested in auditioning, see Mrs. Ewers in the choir room 133 before 5th hour to sign up for a time and get the audition song.

5. There will be a meeting for all girls going out for basketball on Tuesday, October 26th in the gym after school. If anyone is interested in being a manager or helping with the girls program, please come to the meeting or stop by the A.D.’s office.

6 Hey everyone! If you have a B.L.I.N.D. shirt, show your support by wearing it every Thursday!

7. Seniors – Cap & gown information will be given out on Wednesday, October 27th, 4th hour in the auditorium. All seniors should report to the auditorium at that time. Order day will be November 10th from 7:15 to 1:00 p.m. in the cafeteria. 

8. Sauk Valley College will be hosting a College Night on Tuesday, November 2nd from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Over 80 representatives from universities, colleges, technical schools and the military will be available to discuss your educational plans. This is an excellent opportunity for students to gain important information.


TODAY

There will be a mandatory Boys’ Basketball meeting today at 2:25 in room 128.Any boy grade 9-12 who is interested in playing basketball this year should plan to attend.
