Thought for the Day: When you are in a hole, put the shovel down.

1. Leo Club is having their annual t-shirt design contest. The prize of your design being picked is $50. Please turn in your design to Abbey Dempsey, Alicia Brown or the office. The deadline is November 17th.

2. The National Elks Club is offering a scholarship. An essay and community service are required, and an exhibit of your achievements is strongly recommended. Applications are in the Guidance Office.

3. Do you have a BLIND t-shirt? If you do, please wear it every Thursday to support the program. BLIND members are reminded of our meeting on Thursday at 7:15 a.m. in room 405. Don’t forget to bring your t-shirt forms and money.

4. The Scholastic Bowl team will practice on Wednesday at 2:25 p.m.

5. On Wednesday, we will have an assembly at 7:50 a.m. in the auditorium. Students are to report to their first hour class for attendance and then proceed to the auditorium and sit with their first hour class. We will follow the late start schedule for the remainder of the day.

6. Cheerleading practice on Tuesday and Thursday this week will be at Jefferson at 3:00.

7. Seniors – Don’t forget to fill out your senior superlative nomination forms. Turn them in by the end of this week to the main office or Mrs. Bally in room 206A. Blank forms are available in the main office or from Mrs. Bally.
