Thought for the Day: If you don’t stand for something, you may fall for anything.

1. Need free gas? Come to the Basketball game Friday night and purchase a raffle ticket for a $50 gas card. All proceed go to the Casa Bowl-a-thon. Thanks! Key Club

2. Attention all Sophomores: This Thursday you are to report to the auditorium at the beginning of first hour for a presentation about the Whiteside Area Career Center.

3. Students who are interested in the Reagan Legacy 2011 Liberty Education Tours of the Eastern Block countries can pick up information in the Guidance Office. Students must be at least 16 years old, have a minimum gpa of 2.0 and pay for their own airfare.

4. Thursday will be a half-day for teacher’s inservice. Please plan accordingly.

5. There will be a meeting for any girls interested in soccer on Wednesday, February 2nd at 2:30 in the old gym.

6. There is a meeting Thursday for ALL members of BLIND in room 405 at 7:15. Be there for planning and information about the Rock Falls retreat.

7. CONGRATULATIONS TO EMILY CLEMENS WHO WAS SELECTED AT THE STATE LEVEL FOR CHOIR! Emily will be leaving Thursday for the 3 day convention in Peoria which culminates in a mass choir, band, and orchestra concert on Saturday featuring the very best high school music students in the state of Illinois! Way to go Emily, we are proud of you!

Attention Seniors – Sauk Valley College will be presenting a Financial Aid workshop tonight at 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria. Students and their parents who are planning to attend college should plan to attend.
