Thought for the Day: People need love, especially when they don’t deserve it.

1. Any student who did not get a chance to fill out their iFlurtz, see Mr. Eddy to complete.

2. Al Morrison Baseball sign-up is Saturday from 9-1 at the Loveland Community Building. Forms are available at sign-up or www.almorrisonbaseball.org .

3. The Second Look Prom & Homecoming Dress Sale is Saturday, February 26th at the Immanuel Lutheran Church from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. All dresses will be $30 or under. Proceeds will go to your school activity department.

4. The Phidian Art Club is offering a scholarship to a senior who displays excellence in the arts and intends to pursue post secondary education in the arts. Applications are in the G.O.

5. If any wrestler needs a banquet sheet please stop by the AD office.

6. Girls Basketball uniform turn-in will be Monday, February 28th right after school.

7. The DHS Leo Club is having a used eyeglass collection. Please bring old eyeglasses to be recycled by the Lions Club. The glasses will be used throughout the world. Give your glasses to any Leo Club member or leave them in the main office. The Leo Club and Lions Club thank you.

8. National Honor Society members are reminded to bring their cookies to the Induction ceremony on Monday at 6:00 p.m. in the auditorium.

9. Seniors who are in the top 10% of their class (a rank of 1- 19) are eligible for the Sauk Scholars Program. Applications are in the G.O.

10.Any student interested in Early Bird Advanced Weightlifting for the 2011-2012 school year should let their counselor know by the end of the day Monday.

11.Attention Freshmen – CPR classes will be offered Wednesday, April 6th and Monday, May 16th at 2:30 p.m. and last about 3 hours. If you are interested, sign up in the G.O.

12.Monday is the last day to vote for the Abraham Lincoln High School Book Award. Stop by the Library and place your vote.

13.Math Team members – The bus will leave DHS at 8:00 a.m. Saturday. Please bring your calculators.

Scholastic Bowl members should report to room 405 today after school to help set up for tomorrow’s tournament. The set up should only take 15 minutes. See Mr. Padilla with questions.
