Thought for the Day: Use the word “impossible” with great caution.

1. Dance Team try-outs for the 2011-2012 year will be held March 8, 9, 10 in the old gym from 3:00-4:30.

2. Anyone interested in cheerleading for the 2011-2012 school year, please stop by the A.D.’s office to pick up a try-out packet.

3. Congratulations to Mrs. Thomas-Stagg and Ben Dvorak, winners of the Culver’s Dixon Pride Award. Students and staff remember to nominate those you see go above and beyond for DHS.

4. Cheerleaders – Banquet money should be turned in to Mrs. Fox by tomorrow.

5. CONGRATULATIONS TO THE FOLLOWING CHOIR STUDENTS WHO WERE SELECTED TO THE NI BIG 12 MUSIC FESTIVAL: Maribeth Johnson, Catherine Wienzierl, Haley Kent, Michael Barth, Devin Beard, Chris Swartz, and Chris Kooy for the Freshman/Sophomore Choir, and Christine Spaulding, Alex Barth, Shelby Westart, Lindsey Katzman, Kayla Grobe, Ben Thornton, and Peter Balser for the Junior/Senior Choir. They will be attending the festival in Rochelle on Tuesday, March 8th. Their concert is at 7pm in the Rochelle HS auditorium, and the public is invited to attend.
