Thought for the Day: You never get a second chance to make a first impression.

1. Attention Freshmen & Sophomores – You will be taking the PLAN test on Wednesday from 7:50 a.m. to approximately 11:00 a.m. Please bring two sharpened #2 pencils and a calculator. We will serve one lunch from 11:00 to 11:40. Seniors will return at 11:40 for periods 5-7 along with the Freshmen and Sophomores. Seniors who take a Sauk class on Wednesday need to attend that class. Juniors will be off campus Wednesday and Thursday for the PSAE and ACT Tests.

2. PFLAG is offering a $300 scholarship for a senior who will be attending a post-secondary institution who shows direct support of the GLBT youth or community. The deadline is May 2nd.

3. Congratulations to both levels of Boy's Tennis. The Frosh/Soph team won the L-P invitational on Saturday and the Varsity won the Princeton invitational. Top finishers for Fr/So were 1st Place #1Singles-Joey Hammitt, 1st Place #1Doubles-Kurt Gale/Matt Kerr, 2nd Place #2 Doubles-Max Bennon/Cameron Hicks, 6th Place #2 Singles-John Brechon. Top finishers for Varsity were 1st Placed #2 Singles-P.J. Ginn, 1st Place #1 Doubles-Brandon Eisele/Granit Tefiku, 2nd Place #1 Singles-Caleb Bradley, 2nd Place #2 Doubles-Peter Balser/Ben Minch. Great Job!

4. All Hungry Students – Donate blood next Friday and get a free Subway sandwich and you can save a life too. Sign up for the spring blood drive today. The American Red Cross will be here Friday, May 6th. Forms are in the nurse’s office. You will NOT be able to sign up later than May 4th. We need all the donors we can get.

5. Attention Student Council members - There is no meeting this Wednesday due to testing. There will be a stu-co meeting every Wednesday in May. It is important for you to be there for elections, next year's Homecoming theme, next year's leadership conference topic, and end of the year party information.

Varsity baseball at Ottawa has been cancelled and rescheduled as a doubleheader on Thursday.
