Thought for the Day: Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift.

1. Summer School applications are available in the Guidance Office. Classes are $110.00 each and there are no waivers. Applications and money are due Monday.

2. There will be a mandatory meeting for AP students and their parents on Monday, May 23rd at 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria. Your attendance is important because this is an opportunity to learn about student expectations and summer requirements for AP courses.

3. The DHS Athletic Boosters will have a Meet the Coaches Pancake Breakfast on Saturday in the cafeteria from 7:00 – 1:00.

4. There will be a SWAP meeting on Thursday, May 26th at 5:00 p.m. in the DHS auditorium. This meeting is for students and parents who will be participating in SWAP this summer. Information about the program and its expectations will be given.

5. Attention Girls Track Athletes: The banquet is Wed., May 25 at 7:00 pm in cafeteria. Stop by the athletic office and pick up information. Uniform collection will be Monday at 2:30 in gym lobby if you have not turned it in yet.

6. Sports physicals will be June 8th at 3:00 at the Town Square Centre. The cost is $30. Pick up forms in the athletic office.

7. Boys’ Tennis uniform turn in is Monday, May 23, before or after school in the Band Room. Banquet money is due Tuesday, May 24th to the Athletic Office.   

8. Girls’ Soccer uniform turn in is Monday at 4:00. Reminder the banquet is May 24, please turn in reservations to Athletic Office.

9. There will be a wrestling meeting on Monday after school in the wrestling room. This meeting should only take 5 minutes.

10.Congratulations to the Boy’s Track Team for taking 6th place at Sectionals! The following athletes will represent DHS at the State meet: Andrew Christ, Ricky Laskowski, Nate Diveley, Scott Goad, Zach Henkel, Jon Shippert and John Worley.

11.Congratulations to next year’s Sophomore Class Officers: Alexis Plumb, President, Maria Dvorak, Vice President and Annalise Ankney, Secretary- Treasurer. Congratulations to next year’s Senior Class Officers :Kevin Heath, President and Austin Dillon, Vice President.

12.There will be a detasseling meeting for Mr. Rick and Mr. Randick on Wednesday, May 25th at 3:00 in the Reagan Middle School cafeteria.


Today:

All Track Boys who did not participate in Sectionals need to turn in uniforms today.

Seniors – All exam exemptions must be turned in by 2:30 p.m. today - NO EXCEPTIONS!

There will be no girls softball practice tonight.
