Dixon High School is proud to release the names of the students who have been selected to the September Hall of Fame.  Students are selected monthly from various departments because they displayed one or more of the following characteristics:  1) consistent hard work and effort, 2) outstanding attitude toward the subject, 3) leadership, and/or 4) class participation. DHS Plan Testing Print

On Wednesday, April 27, 2011, all DHS Freshmen and Sophomores will take the PLAN test from 7:50-11:00. One lunch period will then be held from 11:00-11:40 in the cafeteria.  Seniors will report to school by 11:40, and then all freshmen, sophomores, and seniors will attend their 5th, 6th, and 7th period classes following our regular afternoon schedule.  We will follow a regular schedule on Thursday, April 28 with Freshmen, Sophomores, and Seniors.  Juniors will be taking the ACT/PSAE tests off-campus on Wednesday and  Thursday, April 27-28, 2011.
 
Girls Varsity Bowling Team Wins Sectional Print

The Dixon Girls Varsity Bowling team has done it again! The Duchesses won their second straight sectional title last Saturday at the LaSalle-Peru Sectional. The girls held on to first place after the first set of games and never let go of the top spot. Senior Skyla Strum earned fourth place as an individual with a high game of 253. The Duchesses will begin State round play Friday morning at the Cherry Bowl in Rockford. The top 12 teams will then advance to Saturday's final rounds. The team hopes to best last year's 8th place win. Team members include Strum, Gina Romero, Samantha Bay, Autumn Day, Aireal Cook, Christie Beightol, and Devan Gearhart.
