Introducing the K-Kids Club @ Jefferson Elementary!

K-Kids is a student-led community service club, which operates under school regulations and draws its members from the student body.  Membership is open to any student who desires to become a leader in his or her school and community and wishes to provide service to others.  Every k-kids club annually elects its own officers and organizes its members into committees so that every member finds a role within the club.  As a part of the Kiwanis family, k-kids members have the opportunity to participate in activities co-sponsored by the Key Club.  K-Kids meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month.  The next meeting is on Jan. 4th from 2:30 to 3:15 in the Jefferson gym.

For the month of November, the Jefferson School K-Kids Club showed thanks to people they care about. During the meeting, the students made colorful posters with thoughtful messages on them and placed them on doors to say thank you to all staff for their hard work.   They also arranged for mini-massages for their teachers and other staff members , compliments of Stacy Long.
