As part of the Festival Weekend of Grand Entertainment our 4th and 5th grade students will receive a private presentation  by organist Ron Rhodes.  A short talk and demonstration about the theater organ and how it works.  A show and tell of the mechanical workings of the organ (including remote-controlled drums, cymbals, bells, sirens, and other sound effects) will be presented as well as a fascinating history of what it was like to live in the 1920's and go to great silent films with live organ accompaniment.  Mr. Rhodes specializes in lively and information-packed presentations to students.
