Reagan Middle School will be continuing the intramural basketball program.  Students (Boys and Girls) in grades 5 – 6 are invited to join!  Participants will be assigned to teams according to gender and grade level.  Players and parents will be contacted by the individual team coaches as to practice and game time/schedules.  Teams will begin practicing at RMS the week of January 31, 2011. All practices and games will be held at RMS.  Teams will begin playing games the week of February 21 and conclude on March 17, 2011.

Students will work on dribbling, passing, shooting, teamwork, a general knowledge of the game.

Good sportsmanship will be emphasized to build strong peer relations, community expectations of being a student athlete and building self confidence / esteem in each young individual.  These skills along with the knowledge base learned through this program, will better prepare athletes for middle school and high school career.

 All participants must have a current physical (less than one year old) and will not be able to practice until it is turned in to the office. All participants are required to pay a $25 registration fee which includes a game shirt.  Registration and fee are due on or before the first day of practice and must accompany the permission statement below.
