Washington School Staff will be hosting a cookout at Wyanet Meats on Saturday, April 30th from 11-2 p.m. We are raising money for the Champion for Children’s Walk which many of us walk in on May 14th and Relay for Life, which we will be walking in on June 9th and 10th. The Champion for Children’s Walk raises money for the Shining Stars Center. The Shining Stars Center is an organization that advocates for children who have been sexually abused. Relay for Life raises money for cancer research. Please come out and bring your family and support great causes. We will be cooking hot dogs, hamburgers and pork chop sandwiches.  You can have just a sandwich or make it a meal by adding chips and a soda.  We hope to see you there!

If you are unable to attend our cookout but would like to make a donation to either organization, you are welcome to send it with your child to school in their BEE book or drop it off in the office!
