5th annual Cops n Bobbers fishing derby.  It is this Saturday August 27th from 9am to 11:30 am at Lowell Park.  Each child recieves a prize and there are other prizes for biggest fish in four age groups for boys and girls.  The event is open to kids up to age 15.  Also there is one grand prize for the child who catches the most fish.  The children will need to be supervised by an adult and must sign a waiver of liability.  You must bring your own tackle.  We will provide night crawlers(worms).  We will also provide all the drinks and snacks the kids can ingest.  It is a great time for children to interact with the police in a social setting.  Contact Officer Tony Quadraro of the Dixon Police Department at 815-288-4411 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
