The winner of the Rebecca Caudill Award for RMS is Every Soul a Star! There was a three-way tie for 2nd place - stop in the library to see all of the results. We will have to wait for the final voting to see which book is the state winner. The winner of the $10.00 Books On First certificate awarded for the 1st student to finish all 20 of this year's selections was Erika Renkes.

Attention All Track Athletes - The first track practice has been changed to Wednesday, March 21. If you have any questions, see Ms. Matha

Builder's Club will be selling pop at lunch this week for $1.00 each. The proceeds will benefit The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Student Council is sponsoring a Door Decorating Contest to celebrate Read Across America Day/Dr. Seuss's Birthday on Friday, March 2nd. Each homeroom should decorate their classroom door in a manner that celebrates Dr. Seuss or simply promotes reading. Judges will evaluate the doors after school on March 2nd. The winning homeroom or homerooms will receive a prize!

The next meeting for the 8th grade graduation dance committee will be March 8th at 6:30 in the library. The committee needs more parents to help with decisions being made and helpers. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Magnafici.

Reminder to 8th grade students: If you are in the hallways in the morning or at lunchtime, you will be asked to present your pass. If you do not have a pass from a teacher, you will be asked to leave. You MUST have a signed pass from a teacher to go to a teacher's room before school or during lunchtime. No locker visits will be allowed during this time. If you are in the hallways after school, you will be asked to leave. You are to leave the building promptly upon being dismissed from class, detention, or practice.
