TO ALL 6TH GRADE PARENTS and STUDENTS- - All 6th graders are invited to join the RMS track team this year. Athletes must maintain a grade of at least a "D" in all subjects. A sports participation fee of $50 must be paid before the first meet on April 12. Your 6th grade school physical will work for this track season. Practice begins after school today, March 22 in the new gym from 2:45pm - 4:00pm. Please bring appropriate clothes and shoes for practice. Schedules for the season will be handed out at practice. There will also be a mandatory parent meeting at Reagan Wednesday, March 28 following practice at 4:15. If you have any questions, please call the office at 815-284-7725.

Builder's Club will meet Wednesday, March 28th at 7:30am in the band room. All members should bring Easter candy and/or plastic eggs for the preschool Easter Egg Hunt. (Do not bring hard candy, gum, or any candy containing peanuts.)

Dixon Wrestling will be practicing two times a week for the next 6 weeks on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5 to 6:30 at RMS starting March 26th. All students are welcome to attend. For more information please see Mr. Bishop or stop in the office.

The Builder's Club is sponsoring their annual Cutest Pet Contest. Proceeds will benefit the Granny Rose Animal Shelter. Voting for the cutest pet in each homeroom will take place on Friday, March 23rd. Voting for the cutest pet in each grade will take place during lunch on Monday, March 26th and Tuesday, March 27th. Voting for the cutest pet in the school will take place during all lunch hours on Wednesday, March 28th and Thursday, March 29th. Bring all of your spare change to lunch on the voting days! The winner will be announced on Friday, March 30th. There will be a prize for the winner, so start bringing in those cute pet pictures!

Attention 8th grade Washington, DC travelers! There will be a mandatory meeting for students only after school on Friday, March 23rd from 2:45 - 3:15pm in Mrs. Renkes's classroom. At the meeting, you will receive a packet of forms to complete. These forms must be completed and turned in before you can choose your roommates for the trip. See you there!
