All Track Athletes - Sport fees are due Thursday morning, April 12. The first meet is at Meridian Junior High at 4:00 pm on Thursday. If you have any questions, see Ms. Matha in the office.

There is a detasseling meeting in the cafeteria at Reagan on Thursday April 12th at 5:30 for Mr Ricks and Mr. Randick. Please bring your application. If you cannot attend this meeting there will be another one on Wednesday April 18th at 5:30.

April is “Shining Star Month” at Reagan Middle School. To raise money for the center RMS is having a raffle. The winner will have a pizza lunch at Angelo’s Pizzeria with their favorite RMS employee and one friend. Tickets will be $1 each or 8 for $5. There will be one winner in each grade. Raffle tickets will be sold April 10 through April 27. Winners will be announced during your lunch hours on April 30. We will also be selling pop for $1 each April 16 – 20 during your lunch hours. Finally, we will have a “tip” jar in the office window for all of your pennies! Builder’s Club started us off with a $149 donation from their last dance! All profits will benefit Shining Star.

On Saturday, May 12th, the Annual Champions for Children’s Walk will take place in Dixon. This walk was created to give a voice to victims of child sexual abuse. 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 6 boys will be the victim of sexual abuse by the time they turn 18 years old. The Shining Star Children’s Center is the front line defense for these children and their families. The money raised will ensure the Center will be able to keep helping these child victims. Thanks for all of your support.

Orland Park Dental Services will be offered at RMS on Thursday April 12th. Please pick up forms from homeroom teacher or in the office. Have parents or guardians fill them out completely and return to the school nurse as soon as possible. 6th graders who do not have a family dentist should plan on seeing the dentist at school to fulfill the 6th grade dental requirement. If parents have any questions have them call the school nurse 815-284-7725.
