NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR TODAY

MAP TESTING MAKE UPS STARTS TODAY PLEASE MAKE SURE STUDENTS ARE SEND TO LAB 209 .

REMINDER TO ALL CHOIR STUDENTS -Wednesday will be a full choir dress rehearsal; all 6th, 7th, & 8th grade choir students.You will meet from 11:35-12:05 in the old gym, on stage.*6th grade choir students - eat lunch first, at 11:17, then skip recess and go directly to the stage.*7th grade choir students - are dismissed at 11:35 during class, and should go directly to the stage. *8th grade students - after lunch, skip recess and go directly to the stage! This is your one and only rehearsal all together for Thursday's concert: DON'T BE LATE AND BE ATTENTIVE AND QUIET SO YOU ARE NOT LATE FOR YOUR NEXT CLASS!!!!!

Reminder: All Global Project t-shirt order forms are due to Mrs. Kitzman by the end of the day on Thursday, May 9th. Order forms are still available in the main office.

Students - Your spring pictures and/or money need to be turned in no later than Wednesday, May 8th.

RMS has a whopping 35,000 AR points so far. We need 40,000 for the dunk tank. Keep reading!

Students that have signed up to detassel for Mr Ricks and Mr Randick this summer. There will be a meeting Thursday May 9th at Reagan. The meeting begins at 5:30 P.M. and please enter through door #6

Eighth grade students.....looking for a way to pay off your high school sports fees?  Dixon Public Schools is now taking applications for SWAP (Student Worker Assistance Program) for summer 2013 work.  SWAP allows students to work off their
athletic fees by working various maintenance, custodial, and summer school jobs throughout the district. 
SWAP applications for incoming freshman will be mailed home and should be received by Friday, May 3rd.  Parents of incoming freshman can also download an application online and return it to Mrs. Sward at Reagan Middle School.   The due date for SWAP applications is 4 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2013.  Any applications received after this date will be put on our waiting list, and are not guaranteed work during the summer. There will be a student and parent informational meeting on Wednesday, May 22nd at 6:00 p.m. in the DHS auditorium.  This meeting is mandatory for incoming freshman and students new to the SWAP program.  It is recommended for those returning to the program. We look forward to working with students interested in giving back to their school, community, and family with this valuable program.

Detasseling applications are available from Mr. Ricks, Mr. Randick and are in the main office. Students must be 13 in order to fill out an application.

Johnson/Bock detasseling team information/applications are available in the RMS office now!  If you would like to work on the Johnson/Bock team, see the office for a job packet!

8th Grade band students remember to come to rehearsal with the 7th graders at 1:53 TODAY!!!  It is your "lesson" for the week.

Unfortunately, the DVDs of the talent show did not work due to faulty equipment. Everyone who already paid will be refunded. Wiggins Computing is sorry for any inconvenience it may have caused."

The RMS Student Council Talent Show is Friday, May 3rd at 6pm in the old gym. Admission is $3.00 for adults, $2.00 for students, and $1.00 for children under 5. There will be a concession stand available. All proceeds will go to the 7th grade African project.

It's time to get creative!!!  Seventh grade students are encouraged to participate in the Student Agenda design contest.  The winning entry will be featured on the cover of the RMS 2013-2014 Student Agenda.  Packets were distributed during homeroom on 04/28/13.  All entries are due by 2:15 on Friday, May 3, 2013, to the Student Services Office.  If you have questions, please contact Mrs. Hamer or Mrs. Sward.  Extra copies of the information can be obtained in the Main Office.
