State Champion Print

Mitchell Homb is the Class 2A State Champion in golf. Mitchell traveled to Normal, Illinois over the week-end to compete in the state tournament at the D. A. Weibring Golf Course.  Par 71.

Mitchell, not only competed in the state meet, but left Normal as the Class 2A State Champion!   He had rounds of 76 & 74, to win by two strokes.

Congratulations to Mitchell for his extraordinary accomplishments: winning the State Golf Title, the Regional, Conference, and three of the five Saturday tournaments.

Mitchell also beat the lowest scoring average of 36.9, which stood up for 25 years, by averaging 36.6 this season.

MATH FUN FOR EVERYONE!

Leave your calculator at home and come learn how math is FUN!  Explore patterns, puzzles, shapes, and sorting that will get everyone's brain going and leave them with a smile on their face!  All second and third grade students are invited to attend Lincoln School's Discovery Center Outreach Math Night on Tuesday, October 19th, from 6:00-7:30PM.  Students and their parents can drop in any time between 6-7:30PM to enjoy a fun filled night of exciting math activities.  We guarantee that parents will have FUN too!  Mark your calendars! You won't be disappointed!
 
Exelon Helps Reagan Print

Ronald Reagan Middle School, Dixon was named recipient of Exelon Nuclear, Byron Generating Station, 2010 Fall School Supply Drive. Exelon employees donated school supplies, classroom calculators and a cash donation of $250.00 to be used towards the purchase of additional school supplies for children in need.

SWAP Updates Print

For Students Participating in Fall Sports
At this time, no additional fall sport athletes are being accepted into the SWAP Program.  We have had an overwhelming and positive first response to SWAP, and look forward to working with winter and spring athletes soon.
